Some of you may remember the set of book covers I did of each Culture novel by Iain Banks as part of my final major project for my degree.
I was really sad to hear the other day that Banks has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
I just wanted to post to say that my thoughts are with Iain and his family.
I was in touch with him during the project and he was really helpful, and a really nice bloke.
I've been thinking about doing the cover of the Hydrogen Sonata, his most recent Culture novel released way after my project ended, which I will probably get round to doing some time soon.

Hey, just curious, did you have time to get around to do that? Curious what your take on it is/could be (sadly, I only discovered this blog recently and glad you had the opportunity to talk to Banks).
